Ruins of a honeyed heart

Barefoot on the grass

The breeze combs my hair

Bellowing into tendrils of ink

The eternal cosmos swirling afar

It's gentle nights like these

When the moonlight leaves me silver eyed

The amalgamation of all my needs

Is but a speckle of all that is

For a moment I yearn

Hope is a flower that blossoms

Underneath a star speckled sky

There's an air of omnipotence

My body's an empire

that believed it's eternal

Don't rue the day it crumples

For a moment I had it all.
